With the new administration coming into governance, there is danger that the mistakes made in the late 1990s regarding home ownership for all, regardless of financial status, promoted by the Clinton administration and implemented by both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, lead to the economic melt down being experienced to day, although alarms were sounded between 2003 and 2005, but ignored by the Democratic controlled Congress.
